Grading and Assessment
Grading and assessment are essential components of our instructional program. Grades and feedback communicate with students and their families about student achievement of learning goals. Results of assessments allow teachers to monitor student progress and provide valuable information for planning instruction and evaluating school programs.
Decisions regarding grading and assessment in Tri-Creek are made by a broad-based Grading Task Force, comprised of parent, students, teachers, and administrators. The Task Force has spent many hours in research and discussion about best practices for assessing students and informing students and parents.
